The story of the Rok class is easy to tell. Miss Atirat got pole position in the time trial, led and won heat 1, heat 2 and the final. The two other Rok racers, Khun Napat and Patiphat could only catch up with her... on the podium.
The real race took place between the eight Rok Junior drivers and it was quite close and exciting, with small gaps on the finish line for the first 2 heats.
In time trials Miss Veerada (289) was the fastest of the Rok Juniors, then Khun Sasakorn, Supanat and Pokin. Toby got problems in time trial and started heat 1 last on the grid.
Rok Junior Heat 1 was won by Khun Supanat, closely followed by Petch, Sasakorn, Pokin, Veerada and Toby (see the picture).
Khun Petch overtook the two leaders, Khun Sasakorn and Supanat in the last lap of heat 2. A group composed of Sasakorn, Supanat, Pokin, Toby, Veerada and Napat finished in that order, a few metres behind Petch who later lost three positions in the official results (5th instead of second).
Miss Atirat again led the final from start to finish. Behind her Khun Sasakorn initially led the pack of the Rok Juniors, followed by Supanat, with Petch and Pokin not far behind. Supanat and Petch overtook Sasakorn who soon re-took second position from Petch. Toby, who likes wet conditions, overtook Pokin for 4th position. Petch spun at the end of the straight and lost his chance to reach the podium. Khun Supanat built a six second lead to win the Rok Junior, with Sasakorn second, immediately followed by Toby, the author of a superb come back from 7th position on the grid. Khun Pokin, who was wearing a KartingPhotography T-shirt on Sunday, finished 4th, 3 tenths behind Toby.
